This is the flood gates open at the Norfork Dam. We took Marcus over there to look at it and it was amazing!! He really enjoyed it. He thought that it was very neat at how much water was coming out of them. Of course, there was lots of questions of how the water comes out, where it comes from, why they had to do it, etc.!! It was really something to see!!
This is Marcus overlooking the White River at Norfork off of River Ranch Road. The rail road tracks are right underneath the bluff we were on. We got to see several trees go down the river!! Across the river, in the bottoms, there were also several houses that the flood waters were fixing to go into. The water is pretty, but I am really glad that I do not live on it!!!If you have not taken the time, take it and go and see the lakes and the rivers.
