Happy Easter!!

Marcus and I colored nearly 2 dozen eggs. Of course, we had a lot of fun and not too big of a mess!! He is very into art right now...so we had paintbrushes, stickers, stencils, etc. to try to put on all of the tiny eggs. He did a very good job!! His artistic ability must come from me because his dad would not even help paint the house when we remodeled it!! HA! Just kidding, Donald...you know we love you!! We went to church Sunday and enjoyed a great Easter egg hunt with all the kids. We came home to enjoy a meal with my sister-in-law, Brenda. I cooked home-made pork roast bbq sandwiches, baked beans, and banana pudding. We also had a "gourmet" item on the menu.....Doritos!! We had a really great Easter celebration. I hope everyone else did too!!
On an update note: My sister-in-law, Rena, is now at home. She recovered very well and is still recovering at home. She said she was VERY sore. I want to thank everyone that sent a prayer for her and her family. She could not have gotten thru it without all of them!!

Family

This is my Grandma Jessie and Grandpa Jug Flippin. I thought I would put this on here because it is such a great picture of them. Remember to please keep them in your prayers. I know this is also a hard time for my grandma having to deal with grandpa's dialysis treatments. I know she is strong and capable of handling this as she will also rely on God's help to get thru this stage of life.
I remember as I was growing up, I spent most of my free time at their house. What fun memories I will always have of that!! It is funny how when you get in trouble at home....you go to your grandparents or aunt and uncles's houses because you just know that you won't get in trouble there!! HA! That is not always true....sometimes you got in worse trouble there than at home. My grandparents will always be very, very special to me. You can learn soo many things that help you in life from people like these.
