New Year's Eve

We had a great New Year's Eve. WE STAYED HOME....where it was safe and happy!!
We ate pizza, chips, and dip. We played a 3 hour game of Life on the Farm. That game is awesome!!! Marcus won of course! Hope everyone has a safe and happy new year!!!! I actually got this posted before midnight!!! YEA!!!!!!!! Now it is up early in the morning to cook and get ready for the Morris Christmas tomorrow!! So excited!!

He is a monkey

Monday, Bubby went with me to help on a job. He was more fascinated with this tree than anything!! The poor woman where we were was so afraid he would fall out! But his Papa Marcus and Aunt Rena told the lady that if he did fall, he would just bounce right back up!!
He is definately part monkey!! He was up in that tree faster than anything!

Christmas with Granny

Marcus entertained Granny Lorean with his mandolin. She loved every minute of it!
Granny and Marcus. I love this picture. He will be soo proud of it someday. Granny is such a loving, sweet, and kind person. I just love being around her, and so glad that she has got to spend the last few holidays with us.
Brenda was talking during dinner. But, not Granny, she had better things to do like EAT!!
We had a wonderful meal. Not very traditional but delicious! We had meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet corn, rolls, and cherry pie.
Marcus got this awesome guitar wall clock from Aunt Brenda. He is a guitar fanatic!!

Christmas Morning

We actually slept til about 6:30 am on Christmas morning. I also conned them into letting me take a quick shower before going to see what was under the tree!!
Oh, the wait just about did them in!!
Marcus pulled another tooth the night before Christmas Eve. So, he has gotten it good here lately!! He pulled it by himself and was so proud.
Momma and Marcus.
Daddy had started to take an interest in taking pictures...so watch out!!
Daddy got lots of tools. And, of course, Bubby did too!!
I got John Deere placemats for my kitchen! And my favorite...another Reba cd. Can you believe I didn't have this one?!! HA!
And a Flippin Bobcat hoodie. This kids loves the Bobcats and loves hoodies.
He was so proud of everything he got.
We had a wonderful Christmas morning.....then it was time to cook Christmas dinner.

Grandpa Jug and Grandma Jessie

Then we went to my Grandpa Jug and Grandma Jessie's house for the annual Christmas Eve dinner. It was great. We had prime rib, baked potatoes, salad, rolls, and dessert. YUM!! Marcus got more bullets for his guns!
The way he is going hunting here lately, he definately needs ammo!!
I don't think Grandma thought I was going to take her picture!
Grnadpa was talking to Bubby about his guns. Grandpa is a big gun lover too!! So, I wonder where Marcus gets that??!!!
Everyone enjoying the great food and just sitting around talking. After that, it was off to the house to fix Santa's treats and go to bed.

Aunt Myrt & Uncle James

We went to Aunt Myrt and Unlce James's on Christmas Eve. I made them each a pillow with their name on them and also made them a set of placemats. Sorry, didn't get a picture of them! They loved their pillows. Aunt Myrt immediately put hers in her chair and wen tto using it! Of course, we got Uncle James his yearly gift of Old Spice. I have got that for him every since I can remember getting to go buy Christmas gifts. I guess it is a tradition!
They got Marcus a shotgun. He is soo proud of it. When we got home late that night, he ad to shoot it! My sister-in-law, Brenda, even called to see what was going on with all of the shooting. We told her not to worry, Marcus was just testing out his new gun. We had a good visit with both of them and love them soo much.
Thanks Aunt Myrt and Uncle James for a wonderful Christmas!!

Flippin Christmas

Lucas was Santa. We had our Christmas with my family on Sunday at my sister, Lindsey's, house. We really enjoyed going over there. She has such a nice duplex. I had lots of fun and so did everyone else. We ate and ate!! Then it was time for the boys to open all of their gifts. Us adults play a dirty Santa game with gag gifts where you pick numbers and can steal from someone. I really wanted mine, but of course, it got stolen!!
Marcus played Santa too!! The boys had such a great time together.
They play so good for the difference in their ages (6 years).
Marcus with his favorite presents so far. His pellet gun from Papa and Nanny along with a lariat rope and chaps for riding his horse. We had a hard time getting him to take the chaps off before the Christmas play at church!! I guess that is the boy in him!!

Thanks for the good food, presents, and company Megan, Skylor, Lucas, Lindsey, Mom, Dad, Donald, Marcus, and me!!!
