Me and my little man!!!

Game 1, Part 1 of Cardinals

Over Memorial Day weekend, we went to a weekend of Cardinals vs. Drillers ball games!! It was a blast!!! Our seats were awesome!! We sat in the Red Bird Roost. And to top it off, all our food was free up there!! Ball game food....worth it all!!
Bubby got to meet several players and they all signed his baseball. He was just amazed that they would take the time to talk to him!!
It was really neat to see them up close in person!!

These guys were awesome. We love baseball games. GO CARDS!!!!

Field Day

Monday, May 18, was Field Day at school. Here is my little sport!!
Here, Bubby is running with his cousin, Courtney. Poor guy, had went to a brithday party over the weekend and jumped up the fire pole at the park and twisted his ankle. But, he wanted to participate in every event!! What a champ!!
Here, Bubby is hanging out with his other cousin, Casey. She working the high jump. He loves both of those girls!!!! And, I can't believe how fast they are growing up!!
He loves the high jump!! He did really good all throughout the day!! We had a great time being there with him!! Great Job, Bubby!!!

Brittany Graduates

On May 15, 2009, Brittany (Donald's daughter) graduated from high school. There were over 400 graduates in her class!! We didn't even get to sit where we could watch it! We had to sit in "overflow" seating and watch it on a screen. It was a little long, but we are so glad that it is over!! Now, welcome to the real world of working and well just working, Brittany!!

Strawberry Pies

Last night, I made 4 of these wonderful pies. They are all gone too!!! No, I didn't eat them. In fact, I haven't even had a bite from them! But, here is the recipe....
1 - baked pie crust
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 1/2 cups water
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 package strawberry jello
about 2 cups strawberries
Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt, and water. Bring to a boil and stir until almost clear. Immediately add jello mix and stir. Remove from heat and let sit until almost set up. Mix in strawberries and pour into pie crusts. Refrigerate at least 12 hours.
My bunch can't ever wait 12 hours to eat so usually 2-3 hours and the pie should be set!! ENJOY!!!!!!

Me and Bubby

Some more pictures of my sweet sweet Bubby!!!
I love this boy!!!
Me and my Bubby!!!
He woke me up at 6 am this morning to wish me a Happy Mother's Day. I just melted!!! He is soo thoughtful when it comes to holidays or birthdays. He has gave me 3 cards and bought me my own purple crescent wrench!!!!! He told me that I needed it and wouldn't have to worry about him or daddy using it because it was purple!!!! They took me out for breakfast this morning. It was delicious!! I came home and they didn't even bother me while I took a nap!! Then we worked our calves. By that time, we were starving and I told them that I was headed inside to start supper. My sweet boy said "Momma, you don't need to cook cause it's Mother's Day, me and daddy will take you out." I told him that I didn't mind cooking, and that was all it took to hear those 3 words I hear everyday...."What's for supper?" So, we had fried pork chops, fried tater, baked beans, and corn on the cob. I also made a dump cake for dessert and it was all great!! Thanks guys for the great day!!! I love you both!!!!!!
