Me and Bubby

Some more pictures of my sweet sweet Bubby!!!
I love this boy!!!
Me and my Bubby!!!
He woke me up at 6 am this morning to wish me a Happy Mother's Day. I just melted!!! He is soo thoughtful when it comes to holidays or birthdays. He has gave me 3 cards and bought me my own purple crescent wrench!!!!! He told me that I needed it and wouldn't have to worry about him or daddy using it because it was purple!!!! They took me out for breakfast this morning. It was delicious!! I came home and they didn't even bother me while I took a nap!! Then we worked our calves. By that time, we were starving and I told them that I was headed inside to start supper. My sweet boy said "Momma, you don't need to cook cause it's Mother's Day, me and daddy will take you out." I told him that I didn't mind cooking, and that was all it took to hear those 3 words I hear everyday...."What's for supper?" So, we had fried pork chops, fried tater, baked beans, and corn on the cob. I also made a dump cake for dessert and it was all great!! Thanks guys for the great day!!! I love you both!!!!!!

Spring Fling

We had Spring Fling a couple weeks ago at school. Bubby just loves all the games, but his favorite one is the steer roping. He roped all night long!! And did quite well too!!!
Megan and Lucas joined us. Lucas just couldn't figure out what the numbers on the floor were for during the cake walk! He loved the music playing though!!!

Bubby did the cake walk a couple of times, but that is not very exciting for him!! He doesn't eat that many sweets anyway. He was more interested in his friends and the other games.
Lucas had the most fun at the duck pond. He didn't want to leave it!! I think he would have gotten in it if his momma would have let him!! HA!! I am soo glad that the boys had a great time! Thanks for going Megan!!

Happy Easter!!!

Happy Easter to everyone!!! I hope everyone had a grat day. Although the rain makes it very dreary. We had a great time at church this morning. We (mainly I) had planned on having a huge dinner today with his and hers family, but both of our sides of the family are sick so it was just us. One little lady did request her dinner though!!! It was just too precious. After church, Donald's Granny Lorean came up to me and just stood there. I just had the feeling that I knew what she was wondering about!!! I asked her if anyone was cooking her Easter dinner. Ant to that she replied, well no you are the only one that cooks holiday dinners for me or any other kind of dinner. So, I whipped up a ham along with mashed potatoes, gravy, broccoli-n-cheese casserole, sweet baby carrots, and rolls. Since it was raining, Donald and I took her a plate down to her. She loved it. Of course, my boys ate well too!!! We love you Granny Lorean and am glad to have been able to make Easter better for you!! We have had a great day together just the 3 of us. We had to hide our eggs in the house. The last time we hid them....we are still missing one of them!! I am sure I will smell it in a day or so!! HA!!

A Day Out...

We took a road trip to Fayetteville yesterday for a much needed visit to Sam's. After we shopped (and only got to stop at Sam's), we headed to Lokomotion for Bubby to play a while. He had a blast riding the mechanical bull. It was too funny to watch. He rode it pretty good.
He made several hole-in-ones on the mini golf. He was very proud of himself...and so was his daddy and I!!! He may be the next pro golfer!!
Bubby is also quite the photographer. He took this of us by one of the waterfalls at the golf place.
He is concentrating very hard!!
He also rode the go-carts. But, he was a little disappointed in the speed of them. I think he is used to his go-cart that flys!!! He starts racing Friday night with his go-cart. Yes, I am more afraid of it than he is!!! He is super excited. Him and his papa have been working on the go-cart for weeks getting it ready. Watch out racers!!!

Donald's B-day

Friday night, we went to the Sunset Restaurant in Marshall to meet up with Ron and Rena. We were late in celebrating Donald's b-day which was Wednesday. Oh well, I guess when you get past 18 the b-days don't really matter!!!! HA!! We had a great time. And of course, lots to eat. It was their all-u-can eat fish night. Yea.....we ate all they had!! JOKING!!!
Bubby and his daddy are getting a lot better at letting me take their pictures. We have even figured out the auto timer on the camera to get all 3 of us in the picture!!! I know we are behind on technology!!! We had a blast guys!!! Thanks so much for dinner.

Home Show

Last weekend, we had a booth at the Home Show in Harrison. My dad was there most of the time since I was very sick last week. He had a great time. He just loves to talk to people!!
This is my daddy!! He is the greatest man in the world! Idon't know what I would do without him. I get to see him everyday, which is probably the best part of my job!

And, do you see on the sign..."Serving the area for 5 generations"?? Well, that's right, I am the 5th generation of a company that provides one of the main things you need in life..WATER!!!
